What:

In this new, 4-week engaging teen visual arts program, self-expression is supported through a wide range of materials, techniques, and media such as painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Alongside exploring personal creativity, students will also build strong technical skills to help deepen their artistic practice.

Whether you’re a beginner, developing your abilities, or preparing a portfolio, this welcoming environment invites all levels to experiment, grow, and create. Join us for an inspiring journey into the many possibilities of visual art.

Intro to Needle Felting: Felted Pillows

What:

In this 3-hour needle-felting workshop, join us for a relaxing and inspiring art-making session and create your own beautifully felted 16″ x 16″ throw pillow.

Learn the fundamentals of needle felting step-by-step as you design and craft a unique pillow to take home. Participants are welcome to bring reference images or sketches for inspiration or simply let the creative process unfold naturally. No prior experience is needed, just bring your imagination and enjoy a fun, hands-on creative experience.

Wood Photo Transfers & Mediums

In this engaging hands-on 4-week program, participants will learn how to prepare a wooden panel, select and transfer photographic images, and then enhance their compositions using a variety of materials and techniques.

From subtle, traditional results to bold, experimental transformations, this workshop encourages individual expression and creative play. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll discover new ways to blend texture, colour, and imagery to create a truly unique artwork

Intaglio Printed Cards

What:

Join us for a relaxing and creative two hour card making workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of Intaglio printed cards. Intaglio printmaking is a traditional printmaking process where you will scratch your own design into a printing plate, fill the engraved lines with ink, and use a press to transfer the image onto paper. In this workshop, you’ll create your own hand-printed greeting cards using this simple and satisfying technique. No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity!
